Where the community comes together
Three programmes, one aim: let African voices, stories and values be heard and celebrated.

Readers Alliance
Living Joy Book Club
African contextual thinking needs readers who understand it. Our members read published books and manuscripts in progress, and give culturally aware feedback that respects context, tone, idioms and lived reality.
- Read: titles and manuscripts with a focus on African and diaspora experiences.
- Proofread: culturally aware feedback for writers.
- Discuss: moderated sessions by region or theme.
- Amplify: share releases, reviews and events.
Core members are people from Africa and the diaspora. Open members are welcome to read and learn, and there is a separate Friends Forum for people of non-African descent.
AWA
African Writers Alliance
The stories of Africans and black people, told by themselves. AWA amplifies African and black writers with a platform where stories are written, owned and told by the people who lived them.
We bring writers together to inspire, motivate and empower each other through collaboration, storytelling and mentorship. Membership is open to writers, aspiring writers and anyone passionate about African stories.

African Love
Celebrating heritage, identity and unity
African Love strengthens the bond among Africans and the diaspora by highlighting African culture, traditions and values. It is a call to love ourselves, our roots and our people, while contributing to the societies we live in.
Through workshops, cultural events, art, music and storytelling we create safe spaces for dialogue on migration, identity and belonging, across generations.
